In 1961, Palm Springs was an epicenter of classic Tiki spots, including the tantalizing Aloha Jhoe’s. Named after the Polynesian god of food and drink, Aloha Jhoe’s was created by Oscar winning Art Director, Lyle Wheeler. Wheeler was known for his work on films like South Pacific (which was an obvious inspiration for the place). The interior was designed to give the illusion of a bamboo forest and Aloha Jhoe himself graced the face of the fireplace in the main room, just like he graces our enamel pin tribute to this classic Tiki watering hole.
Each pin comes mounted on a backing board and features two black rubber style clutches for extra safety. Size: 2 inches tall (50mm) Limited edition of 400.
